[help needed] - bike store in Delhi or Mumbai !

hi guys
we are touring around Asia for last 5 months and finnaly it has happened - some f***er drove through my bike and my front wheel is gone :-(

sending a new one from Europe it's not a big problem, but the price of doing this is ... well ... a MAJOR problem :-(

so ... what I need it's a new rim and somebody able to make a new wheel (the hub and 30 spokes are still good :-)

I never was in INdia, but as they have bicycles there, why don't you buy a whole wheel? The front wheel is not so critical, so a cheap one is sufficient. Normaly you can't use the old spokes, because often the rim diameter for the spokes differs from rim to rim. And in Germany everybody says it is cheaper to buy the whole wheel, as handcraft is expensive, Ok India is another story.
Try to look if you can't find a shop via the website of a bike manufacturer, they should have a dealer in India.

we are in India :-) .... the things are different down here :-)
but thanks for the tip - I was thinking about it, but I'm the lucky guy - some friends are comming to India - they will bring the wheel :-)

well .. they say 140 euro ;-(
but I was very very very lucky and somebody was going to Ahmedabad so I have the delivery for free :-)))
